Welcome to Creative Woodworking by Stan ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of any products from our online store. By accessing our website and/or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General Conditions

  • By placing an order with Creative Woodworking by Stan, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

2. Product Uniqueness & Natural Variations

  • All of our products—including hand-made lazy susans and charcuterie boards—are individually handcrafted from natural wood.

  • Grain & Color Variations: Wood is a natural material. No two pieces of wood are identical. Variations in grain pattern, color, knots, texture, and natural imperfections are expected and celebrated as part of the unique beauty of handmade wood products.

  • Sizing: Because each piece is custom-made and finished by hand, dimensions are approximate. No two pieces of wood are the same size or have the exact same grain.

  • Product images on our website are representative. The actual item you receive will have its own distinct character, shape, size, and grain pattern.

3. Orders and Payments

  • All prices listed on our website are in USD and are subject to change without notice.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to cancel or adjust any order in the event of pricing or listing errors.

4. Shipping & Handling

  • We ship orders to the address provided by the customer at checkout. Please ensure your shipping information is correct, as we are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the buyer.

  • Limitation of Shipping Liability: Once an order is handed over to the shipping carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx), Creative Woodworking by Stan is not responsible for any damage, loss, delay, or theft caused by shipping or transportation.

  • If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim. Keep all packaging materials and damaged goods, as they may be required for inspection by the carrier.

5. Product Care and Maintenance

  • Proper care is required to preserve the quality and longevity of handcrafted wood products.

  • Charcuterie boards and lazy susans should be cleaned with a damp cloth. (No soap) Wipe off food and dry. Once a month, apply mineral oil. Let soak for 20 minutes, then wipe off. Do not put wooden items in the dishwasher or submerge them in water.

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by improper care, excessive moisture, heat exposure, or general misuse.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Due to the custom and handcrafted nature of our products, all sales are final.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Creative Woodworking by Stan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our website or products.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
